The best in double and twin pushchairs
I used to (quite foolishly) believe that double and twin pushchairs were solely for those who had twin babies, and weren’t really of interest to anyone else. But recently, a friend who has had two children in very quick succession, put me right on this. If you have two children under the age of three, a twin buggy is an absolute must, because there is no way you will be able to carry one tired toddler whilst trying to push another around in a pushchair.
Double and twin pushchairs used to be a thing of horror. Big and bulky, difficult to maneuver, and just so heavy, especially for a mother on her own, these pushchairs did the job, but with no style or ease. Today this couldn’t be further from the truth. Premium baby brand Babythingz offer a really wide range from brands such as Cosatto, Mountain Buggy, Babystyle and Baby Jogger and offer free delivery on all orders over £50.
The designs available range from super lightweight aluminum chasis that will help mom and dad to avoid breaking their backs picking up the buggies. There are also great features such as seats that can be removed for easy cleaning – because who ever heard of a clean baby/toddler. I love that some buggies have a stand to enable the pushchair to be left free standing when it is folded up – really good when you are eating out (I remember folding my pushchair up and having to leave it on the floor, cue much tutting from other people.). All the features you find on regular, single buggies are also there – reclining seats for when the babes want to sleep, cup holders for drinks, rain covers and cosy toes for bad weather, and, as this is the age of technology, you even find pockets for multi-media gadgets complete with speakers.
If you are looking for a double or twin pushchair, here are a few suggestions.

I also thought double buggies were just for twins! Why is this something I’ve never thought of before. It’s also amazing how times have changed and how sleek double buggies have became! Lovely post and great images!
