A snapshot of February’s Key looks featuring Kate Middleton,Emma Watson and Olivia Palermo

Another month is half way through (well, almost) and the fabulous looks keep coming thick and fast.  From pre bafta parties and lunches, to perfume launches and public appearances, there have been some fabulous outfits on show. Here are some that I really love, with a few tips on how to get the look.

Look 1 – Emma Watson.

The always impeccable Emma Watson looked beautiful in a black puff-ball style dress at the launch of Lancome’s Rouge in Love at Selfridges London. This was such a pretty look, from the puffed sleeves and dotted netting, to the puff-ball skirt.  I love that Emma always looks so age appropriate, a young girl having fun with fashion.

Black Spot Mesh Ponte Dress Price: £38.00

Another day, another Emma Watson look. And if the Selfridges dress was rather demure, then the same couldn’t be said for the raspberry lace number she wore to the Baftas pre party. The see through lace bodice was worn without a bra, but despite some calling it a wardrobe malfunction, I thought she looked amazing. Admittedly, if this dress was worn by Jordan, I probably wouldn’t think the same. But on a fresh and beautiful 21 year old, this look is perfect.

Look 2 – Beyoncé in Alice by Temperley

Can you believe that this woman only gave birth a few weeks ago. A glowing Beyoncé looked just stunning in an Alice by Temperley ruched style dress. This was just so flattering, showing off Beyoncé’s post baby curves and the coral shade looked perfect on her. Great beaded shoes too!

Look 3 – Kate Middleton in Jesire

The latest look from the Duchess of Cambridge was a beautiful ‘New Look’ style coat dress from Jesire, a brand that is now defunct in the UK, but may get a relaunch, thanks to the ‘Kate effect.’ I loved this dress because it is the perfect winter occasion dress, very elegant, but also very warm. It looked like something Grace Kelly would’ve chosen in the 1950s. Kate was attending a preview of the Lucian Freud exhibition at the National Gallery.

 Look 4 – Olivia Palermo

There was just one place my eyes were drawn to when I saw this look, and just one question in my head – Are they Carrie Bradshaw#s wedding shoes? I love how Olivia chooses individual pieces and then creates fabulous outfits. This is no exception. The metallic pewter is given a serious dose of colour pop with the zingy yellow clutch bag.

Look 5 – Christina Hendricks at the Elle Style awards

So often Christina wears dresses that she looks like she is ready to burst out of, but on this occasion she was more reserved and wore a beautiful purple print dress that just looked fabulous against her wonderful red  hair. I also loved the choice of teal heals, showing the colour clash is still very much alive.

Look 6 – Naomie Harris at the Elle Style Awards

The always gorgeous Naomie Harris was my best dressed at the Elle Style awards in this wonderfully sculpted blue dress from Viktor and Rolf. I think keeping this dress simple is a masterstroke,  the dress itself is enough. I love that the blue has been teamed with gold shoes that are almost staid in comparison to the dress.
