Alto Micro Alternative Studs From Nude Jewellery

There are two kinds of jewellery. There are the big, ostentatious pieces of statement jewellery that you wear when you are wanting to get noticed, the jewellery that jazzes up your little black dress, or takes your jeans from daytime casual to evening glamour. Your statement jewellery can often be a passing trend, like the tassle earrings we were all wearing last Winter, and may disappear into the realms of your jewellery box, never to be seen again when the trend is replaced by a new one.

 Nude Jewellery began in London in 2001, when jeweller and designer Nikki Galloway, who had created bespoke pieces for the likes of Elle Macpherson, started her own company that was dedicated to creating beautiful pieces of jewellery. Now based in Surrey, Nude continues to go from strength to strength and has featured in publications including  Vogue, Elle and The Sunday Times Style.

One of my favourite pieces from the current Nude Collection are the Alto Micro Studs. These totally illustrate what I was talking about earlier – classic, elegant designs that would work equally as well for evening wear, but could also look sophisticated at work, or add a little sparkle to your jeans – totally versatile and always wearable.

The Alto Micro studs are the height in minimalism, pieces that can be dressed up or dressed down. They are also super pretty, made from a circle of 1mm silver bubbles which sit flat against the ear and have a secure butterfly fastener.
