Tolpa Dermo Face – New Products
I love discovering new skincare products, and if they are also very affordable, then that is an added bonus. Tolpa is the latest cult skin care brand. It arrived in the UK from Poland last year. In its native country, the brand is a massive success story, selling millions of products every year. (6.2 million products in 2024 alone). In the UK, the good news is that it is now available at Boots and Boots online, and is one of the fastest growing beauty brands by word of mouth and positive reviews in 2025. Tolpa has ranges for dry skin, oily skin and rosacea. Today I am focusing on that…

More Autumn Updates From Lindex
Lindex is one of my favourite fashion destinations when it comes to wearable, stylish yet affordable pieces. I featured a couple of my current fave pieces last month in a post you can find here and today I am featuring two more. Making Pampering Plans For November
Another month has almost finished, as the year continues to fly by. October has been great fun, but November is always one of my favourite months of the year, as the countdown to Christmas truly begins. Christmas lights are switched on, Christmas markets arrive in town and everywhere has a very festive feel, which is perfect if, like me, you think it is the most wonderful time of the year. But Christmas can also be the a really stressful time, when the preparations and excitement can actually take a real toll, especially if you have young children with excitement levels at boiling point. So, November could be a time when…

Starter For Ten Is Just Superb
In my late teens I had an interview, along with some school friends to appear on the quiz Blockbusters. It was a disaster and, needless to say I never got the chance to ask ‘can I have a p please Bob?’ The memory though, has never left. New musical Starter For Ten had its press night at The Rep, Birmingham last night and tells the story of Brian, and his quest to appear on the legendary quiz University Challenge, whilst simultaneously winning the girl of his dreams. It is a warm and witty tribute to that most difficult, and beloved of quizzes, and this failed quiz contestant absolutely loved it!…

Priscilla Queen Of The Desert Is A Delight
So I’ll start with a true story. I first saw Priscilla the Musical around 10 years ago in the West End. I sat so high up that I virtually got a nose bleed and couldn’t see the bus (aka Priscilla) but what I could see, and hear, was great, so I was really looking forward to seeing it again at the Wolves Grand last night. I can happily say, that in the hands of the talented Bilston Operatic Company it is just fabulous. Full of great performances, with an incredible set and those iconic disco hits, Priscilla Queen of the Desert may just be the perfect night out. Synopsis Priscilla tells…
