As an absolute shoe fanatic, I always notice when a celeb is rocking a particularly fabulous pair. So my shoe antennae were on full alert when I spotted Tulisa sporting these beauties whilst paying a visit to the X Factor House. Thursday saw Eastcastle St, London transformed into Peacocksville as discerning fashionista’s descended on the Oui Rooms to check out the new Peacocks collections that will have us salivating come November and December. And there were so many fabulous looks to savour…as well as a few surprises. The new Pearl Lowe collections have moved slightly away from her beloved 1940s, and are now embracing a glamorous Hollywood 1930s vibe. Champagne silk and lace, and black oriental style florals simply evoke the time of Kay Francis and Miriam Hopkins, whilst maintaining the amazing Peacocks price points. Pearl Lowe continues to bring that Vintage feel to Peacocks.
I was recently lucky enough to have a Twitter conversation with Pearl Lowe, where I was able to tell her how much I loved her feminine, vintage inspired designs for Peacocks. I explained that I was a curvy girl who had virtually lived in one of her designs over the summer, and that I couldn’t believe just how flattering the designs were for those with fuller figures.
