Dressed for work with the Birmingham Royal Ballet
A wonderful new photographic exhibition opened in Birmingham last week. ‘Dressed for Work’ is a fantastic celebration of the work of Marta Kochanek and is part of the 25th Birthday celebrations of the Birmingham Royal Ballet. The photographs feature four of the key dancers from the BRB, First Soloist Celine Gitttens, Principal Momoko Hirata, Soloist Rory Mackay and Principal Cesar Morales and shows their transformation from their normal wardrobes, to being ‘Dressed for Work’. I love the idea behind the exhibition, which states “Most of us naturally think of our wardrobes as including both work and play clothes, or casual or dress clothes. An Autumn homestyle wishlist
I am currently living it what seems to be a building site. King & McGaw – Easyart gets a new name!
In February I did a post about the amazing range of images and art prints that are available at Easyart. (You can check out that post here.) Since then, Easyart has had a name change and is now known as King & McGaw, but the fabulous quality and range is still the same and comes highly recommended by Fashion-Mommy. I was recently sent a beautiful print that is now taking pride of place in my living room, and I have to say that the all round service by King McGaw makes them very easy to recommend. For me personally, one of the main things I worry about when ordering a…

Put your love in print with Easy Art
One of the loveliest and most personal of gift choices this Valentine’s Day is the gift of Art. A framed print of a favourite photograph, film poster, work of Art, or even a reproduction of an advertising poster from the past can be very special, containing shared memories that may only be known to you and your loved one. Easy Art have a, quite frankly, huge collection of Art prints that come in a range of sizes that they can also frame for you. Their collection ranges from classic and contemporary art work by artists ranging from Turner to Warhol, classic photographic imagery of works from the Kobal Collection and…
