Designer Vintage Wedding Show hailed as a Huge Success
One of my highlights of the year so far was the gloriously frothy and glamorous ‘Designer Vintage Wedding Show’ that was held at Highbury Hall in February. This was an elegant mixture of beautiful vintage and vintage inspired wedding dresses from the likes of Jenny Packham and Elie Saab, glittery vintage ‘bling’ from companies such as Terry Terry and stunning examples of hats, fascinators and headdresses from designers like Sally Harper from The Sharper Millinery. Throw into the mix music from, flowers, cupcakes and expert wedding advice from top bridal bloggers Rock n Roll bride and Love my Dress, and you had the perfect recipe for a wonderful wedding inspired day.
So it is great news that the inaugural show is being deemed as a huge success by its organisers Rachel Simpson (of Rachel Simpson shoes) and Clare Guest (of The Wedding Club). Exhibitors and visitors have also been full of praise for the 2 day event. Here are some of the comments garnered about the event;-
“I thought the show was superbly well organised and had a fabulous atmosphere throughout the whole weekend” Annabel Beeforth, Love My Dress
“Well done on a fantastic show. Â Will be first on the list for the next one. Â EXCELLENT!” David and Grace, Lindsay Fleming Couture
“I just wanted to say what a wonderful show, the best I have ever been to.” Sally-Ann Kinnel, bride-to-be
“I just wanted to say a very big thank you for organising the DVB fair. I had so many wonderful comments about my work and the event being the best people had ever been to.” Sally Harper, Sharper Millinery.
With comments such as these, it is no surprise that the organisers behind the Designer Vintage Bridal Show are already in the planning stages for the next show, possibly to be held later this year. Fashion-Mommy will keep you up-to-date with developments as they happen.
