This Friday (13th December) sees the annual Christmas Jumper day that raises money for Save the Children. But if a Christmas jumper is not your thing, then maybe you could try a festive dress instead. Shinesty is the home of festive dressing, with a wide range of Christmas prints that you can find emblazoned on pyjamas, suits and dresses.Their styles come in a wide range of sizes, and they ship internationally, totally bringing the Christmas spirit to even the most Scrooge-like.
I must admit I have never worn a Christmas dress, but how cute is the Red Ryder Skater Dress. This is a gorgeous stretchy style that is actually very warm too. Made from 94% Polyester, 6% Spandex, the dress has a full swirly skirt, long sleeves and pockets, and could be worn with the neckline either way for different looks.
The print is bright and colourful, in red, green and white, with a cute line of Christmas trees running intermittently through the design. The dress is just knee length on me (I’m 5ft7inches) so I wear it with leggings so that it is not too short, but it could be worn with tights, or even layered over trousers or jeans. A crop jumper would also look good too, to give you another look.
This dress is the perfect Christmas dress. It is comfortable and easy to wear, as it skims the figure rather than clings and is soft and warm. This would be great for a Christmas party, or to wear on Christmas Eve, or Christmas day, but it is comfortable and practical enough to wear on any day over the Christmas period, and is bright and pretty enough to be a talking point – you just need to add a Santa hat!
Shinesty have a fabulous range that should be part of your Christmas magic this year.
