Final, Final Gift Ideas For Christmas

It’s that final few days of rushing around and making sure you have everything ready for the visit from the man in red. If you are still a few gifts short, or are struggling for what to get for the Mr Awkward in your family, here are a few last minute gift ideas that may just sort your dilemmas ready for the big day.

Pass The Pigs

The classic game that works for just about anyone, Pass the Pigs is the no-brainer gift idea for the person who has everything, and so proves to be difficult to buy for. Simple to play, available in a travel size perfect for those who may be going away this Christmas, Pass the Pigs is fun and can get everyone involved to decide who will be crowned the ‘top hog’.

Shady Bay Buddies Books

Not every book that you gift at Christmas has to have a Christmas theme. The Shady Bay Buddies books are just wonderful in that they explore themes that are both important and sometimes worrying for children (like going to the doctors and starting school) but do these through wonderfully photographed stories featuring knitted toys that young children are sure to love.

Archie and Amber are the heroes of the story, and there is a further challenge for young readers, as Archie’s bunny appears in every scene and you have to find him.

The Shady Bay Buddies books are bright and colourful, totally enchanting for their young readers, and a great gift idea for Christmas and beyond.

Greene King Christmas Beers

Christmas Ales are a great gift for dad, grandad, uncle or for me (as I love real ale!) Greene King has produced two delicious varieties for Christmas that offer a flavour to suit all tastebuds, and that come in gorgeous festive bottles that will make these a wonderful gift idea. The first beer is Old Mulled Hen, which is a warming winter ale with rich clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg flavour. (This is gorgeous it has to be said, perfect on a cold winter’s night.) The second beer is Rocking Rudolph, a number one Christmas Cask Ale that is my favourite of the two due to the slightly fruity flavour. The beer is a full bodied beer with redcurrant and blackcurrant flavours, along with a malted toffee taste. A crisp bitter finish.

Hopefully you are all sorted now, with Just enough time to get everything wrapped!

Merry Christmas.
