Have a Boden Christmas

If you are looking for something a little special to wear to a party this Christmas, or you’re looking for a present for the lady in your life (mom, sister, wife, daughter – basically any female relative), then you need to make sure you visit the Boden website this week. For this is the week with the famous 25% off discount that allows you to make some rather good savings on some gorgeous pieces including both clothes and accessories.

Boden promises that it offers ‘the gifts she’ll love’, and I have to agree. They have Christmas jumpers with a twist, offering a sparkly bauble or two, or a completely sequined number that is just decadent in its embellishment. There are 1960s style embellished dresses – I’m thinking early 60s Jackie Kennedy rather than the later, ‘swinging’ stuff. These are beautiful, and would look fabulous with the glamorous Evie jacket thrown over the top.

I love the flock spot ponte dress, which comes in three colour ways and would be a great pretty, yet practical Christmas day dress. And then there are the accessories, the perfect clutch bags with the zip tops, that come complete with handle, or pouch style, and the wonderfully elegant velvet scarves, which would add a feminine touch to the masculine tailoring of a tuxedo jacket. Also stealing my heart totally are the Westminster gloves – so glam in animal print, but also lovely in pink.
