Autumn is a time when we think about how we can update our current home decor. Summer, and the holidays are becoming a distant memory, whilst we know that Christmas, and all that it brings, is now just around the corner (the shops being full of decorations yesterday totally brought this home to me). Why choose this chair?

I love this chair. It comes in three colour ways – light brown, which has an almost art deco look, dark brown, and the ever stylish black option, which is sleek as well as practical. The Faux leather fabric not only looks good, but is great if you want to add Vegan styling to your home and want to avoid real leather and animal by products. Faux leather also makes this a practical choice if you have children, as the PU fabric can be wiped clean in the case of spillages (always a hazard when you have young children.)

PU is a hard wearing, durable fabric that is also supple, allowing it to age beautifully and still look good. Of course, it is also so much more affordable than a similar, leather option.

Where could you use this chair?

Let’s be honest, this chair could be used in so many places and in so many ways. It would work in your living room as a stand alone chair, or as part of a matching pair if you chose to add another in the same colour. It would work with your current sofa due to the neutral colour, and you could match it further by adding cushions and a throw in your rooms shade.

This chair is also a great piece for a home office as it is a comfortable chair that also offers support if you are sitting working on a laptop. The height is good and the sturdiness makes this a chair that you can use every day. I also think this could be a brilliant nursing chair as it is very comfortable – the faux leather is soft and supple, rather than stiff, so this makes it somewhere comforting for late night baby feeds and the perfect choice to add to a nursery.

The chair does have a retro feel, but this does not mean it is old fashioned and wouldn’t suit a modern room. The chair is actually streamlined – no buttons or curves, no fuss or thrills – and this means it would suit modern, Scandi styled rooms perfectly.
