How many storage units would Santa need?

Christmas is just around the corner and let’s face it, we always overbuy for our kids every year, because we love seeing their faces on the big day as they tear into their presents.

And whilst we find the best hiding places in the house to store all the gifts, what would we do if we had to store all the presents that Santa has up in lapland? Well, I thought it would be a fun idea to actually work it out. I teamed up with Storebox, to figure out how many actual store boxes Santa would need to hide the presents for children all over the world. Believe me when I say it’s a lot!!

Having done the maths it looks a like this (and this is on the basis that every child in the world is just getting one present!)….

Yes, that’s right, Santa would need 5,629,932 large storage units to fit all the presents in. Good job his Lapland residence is so big or else he’d be in a bit of a sticky situation!
