Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide
Well, it is nearly Christmas, not that you would know this from the current foul mood pervading the country. Still, we are 15 days away from Christmas Eve, so basically we have 15 shopping days left, less if you want to order online.
So here it is…my final gift guide, dedicated to some fabulous prezzie ideas that should tick the box for someone you know, and hopefully help solve a present dilemma. There is no rhyme or reason to this post, it is not dedicated to someone in particular, it is just filled with lovely things.
Men’s HH® Logo Hoodie from Helly Hansen
Helly Hansen is a brilliant, outdoors brand that create fabulous quality clothing that is just brilliant for those who love hiking, sports and outdoors living. But they also have brilliant pieces that are just great for everyday wear – for the weekend, for heading to the park, for walking the dog – these are for everyone, and are the kind of thing you will reach for again and again.
The Men’s HH® Logo Hoodie is a signature piece that comes in a range of 11 colours and go up to size 2xl. This hoody is super-soft and comfortable, with an iconic logo on the front. It is made with fine French terry, so it is very wearable, and really easy to wash too. My pick is the crisp, classic white design, that will look just perfect teamed with black jeans or joggers.
Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse
With more and more people working remotely, often in coffee shops, a mobile mouse that you can connect via bluetooth to your Windows 11 Home/Pro and Windows 10 PC is a brilliant gift idea that will please both techies and studious office types. The Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse is both lightweight and portable, with smooth scrolling, sculpted comfortable design, and dongle-free Bluetooth® connectivity.
The Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse works on a variety of surfaces¹ thanks to BlueTrack technology. It also comes in a range of colours, which may well suit a fashion lover.

Fun Skating Gift for Roller Skaters
If you are in need of a last-minute gift, buying roller skates might be the perfect solution. Roller skates have been around for centuries and have been used as a form of exercise, transportation, and recreation. Today, they are often bought as gifts to children or teens who enjoy roller skating on their own. And because they can be easily picked up and put aside when not in use, they’re also a great option for those who don’t have much room in their home or apartment. Just get your kids a pair of roller skates and they will be able to play outside with their friends.
Roller skating is an easy way to get in some exercise without even having to leave your living room. It’s also great because it can be done with friends and family members of all ages.
A Quirky Gift Idea From Lost Universe
If you are looking for something unusual, or something quirky, or maybe just something for a lover of movies, then I would suggest you look at the selection available at Lost Universe, the home of officially licensed merchandise.
You really can find anything here, from Spiderman merchandise that will totally delight a fan of the franchise, to Del Boy’s dressing gown that can only be described as ‘luvvly jubbly.’
My pick this Christmas is not only practical, but is brilliant for anyone who gets excited when they hear ‘The Eye of the Tiger’ and always fancied doing their own ring walk. The Rocky Dressing Gown is a replica of the one that Rocky Balboa wore to his fits. It is a soft and luxurious robe, and comes in a free size to fit most budding boxers. It is a brilliant, funny, quirky and yet still practical gift idea.

The Platino Yollo boots are a ladies pu upper ankle boot. They have a Tpr sole unit with block heel, elasticated gusset to side wall for adjustable fit and a soft textile lining.
This is a boot that will look great with jeans or a mini skirt, they are the sort of boot you can both dress up and dress down and they will look brilliant. They currently have £10 off, so at £20 you can’t go wrong, even if you are treating yourself this Christmas.
Luxurious wool and cashmere accessories from Knitwear Queen

Their range are fashion forward but also classic – these are pieces you will be wearing forever, and by using cashmere and merino wool, their items are soft and elegant, and have the feel of a real treat if you give them as a gift.
My pick is the Olivia pom pom two tone hat with a lovely faux fur pom pom. The hat is 30% cashmere, and has a lovely, two tone colouring of taupe brown and winter white which makes it a fantastic neutral that should suit everyone, and go with so much of your wardrobe.
Crackers Cracking Hunger with Deliveroo and Kojo Anim
If you are going to someone’s house for Christmas Dinner, perhaps you could bring the crackers? Britain’s Got Talent star Kojo Anim has teamed up with Deliveroo to write jokes for their ‘Crackers Cracking Hunger’ campaign, which has seen the food delivery company sell charity crackers to support The Felix Project and FareShare. Each box of crackers costs £10 and will provide a week of meals for a household in need, something that can be even more important during the Christmas period.
Deliveroo’s charity Christmas crackers will be available to purchase across the UK from Deliveroo Editions via the app or website from November 29th 2021 until sold out. Customers should search ‘Crackers Cracking Hunger’ to find an Editions near them. Any Deliveroo customers who are not within delivery of an Editions site, or who would like to make a monetary donation rather than receiving crackers, can still support the cause by making a donation on the ‘Crackers Cracking Hunger – Make a Donation’ page. 100% of all donations will support Deliveroo’s efforts to deliver more meals to families who need them via The Felix Project and FareShare.
Kojo Anim said, “I love Christmas, so when Deliveroo asked me to get involved in supporting FareShare and The Felix Project, helping households in need this December, I couldn’t say no. I always say my gift is to tell jokes but my purpose is to help people.”.

As readers of this blog know, I’m a huge fan of personalised gifts in general, and photo gifts in particular. I think being able to capture a special moment in time as a gift idea is both thoughtful and specific – it could only be a gift for one person, and that makes it as special as it could be.
Asda Photo has a wide range of photo gifts this Christmas, ranging from photo books and canvases, to baby blankets and mugs. They also do jigsaws and phone cases, all emblazoned with your favourite photographs. The printing is high quality, and the site is easy to use, with delivery being very quick.
If you are currently struggling with a gift idea, then maybe a photo gift could be the answer you are looking for.
