L’Occitaine and GlossyBox Pamper shopping event

Last Wednesday beauty fans and bloggers gathered in Birmingham’s Pavilions shopping centre to attend a great beauty event hosted by Provencal beauty brand L’Occitaine, and Glossybox. The event was a chance to see all the new ranges that L’Occitaine has introduced lately, and also to try some of the products, with 15% discount offered on anything you then chose to buy.

I’ve been a huge fan of L’Occitaine for a good many years, loving in particular the floral scents and the Almond Oil products, so this event was perfect for me to get the opportunity to see experience some of the products I haven’t used before.

One of the collections I was really impressed with was the La Collection de Grasse. This is a gorgeous range of fine fragrances that combine ingredients from fruit to spices, with floral scents also added to the mix. From jasmine to Bergamot, to Vanilla and magnolia, the fragrances are pleasantly summery, and come in stylish glass bottles that are just designed to add style to your dressing table. One surprise was how much I liked the ‘Vanille and Narcisse’ fragrance, a surprise because I usually hate anything with vanilla fragrance.

I was also lucky enough to be treated to a skincare consultation by one of the highly knowledgeable L’Occitaine staff. My face was spritzed with my favourite product, the Angelica Hydration Face Mist, a miracle product that no-one who travels on trains, or is going on holiday this summer, should be without. I also loved the Immortalle Serum, another hero product that is an aid to leaving skin looking soft, smooth and younger looking.

Some of the products we were able to try.

This was another fabulous event from L’Occtaine Birmingham and Glossybox, one which all the attendees really enjoyed. It was lovely to meet beauty Blogger Gemma Button from Button’s Blog, and to see Amy PYT, Alev from Bella and Robot  and  stylist and blogger Emily Jayne once again. It was also lovely to catch up with Kim Stephens from Style Birmingham, and meet her lovely friend Michelle. I had a really fantastic night and would like to give big thanks to L’Occitaine and Glossybox.

Welcome to the world of fashion-mommy, a world of fashion, lifestyle, theatre and fun. Enjoy the ride.
