Perfect Petite Workwear from Precis

I often get emails from petite readers telling me what a minefield it is to find stylish petite clothing that not only looks great, but fits great too. The majority of readers bemoan the fact that petite ranges are often just items from the regular collection which have a shorter length, and when High Street stores have a petite collection, it is often limited to ‘basics’ – black trousers, jersey tops and the odd pair of jeans. This houndstooth dress is just gorgeous, with the shock of hot pink bringing the look bang up to date. I love that a jacket could be added to this to make it look like a suit, but add some killer heels and this turns into a seriously hot, form fitting, dress.

The next two dresses are most definitely in the Duchess of Cambridge style. The hot prints and the gorgeous purple and blue shades are perfectly on trend for Autumn/Winter 2012, whilst eye catching details including side ruching, skinny belts and interesting button details give these dresses the appearance of designer wear. I think both are absolutely gorgeous!

I’m most definitely a dress person, but if separates are more your thing there are lots of items that will catch your eye. This black pencil skirt with buckle waistband is super smart, and will look fabulous when teamed with a Mondrian style sweater.

Separates are great in that they give you lots of options to create lots of different outfits. The black buckle skirt would also look really smart teamed with the teal ribbed cardigan, whilst the red in the colour block jumper would look great against the red textured skirt.
