Elie Beaumont Messenger Bag Review

I love Elie Beaumont London bags. They are a sign of quality, using beautiful leather in a range of colours and styles. They are bags that fit every mood, every occasion and every day. You can read my previous reviews here and here but today I am turning my attention to what is probably my favourite style of bag – the messenger bag.

The best sorts of bag look amazing, hold everything you need, and have a good, practical edge to them. The Elie Beaumont Messenger bag fits the bill. When I go out, whether it be shopping, or sightseeing or out to see a show, I want my bag to be something that isn’t it the way. I am often carrying shopping bags for instance, or holding my camera, so a cross body bag is the perfect style for me. The Elie Beaumont messenger style is a cross body bag as the handle can be extended, but you can shorten it if you prefer to wear it on your shoulder. This gives you not only versatility, but also practicality.

The Design

The bag is beautiful, with curved edges that give it a scooped shape. It has a top zip fastening, and an internal zip security pocket which is useful for holding your bank card or some loose change.There is also a pretty front pocket detail that would also be useful for train passes, Oyster cards or other forms of tickets that you might need to access quickly.

The bag looks like luxury/ It is hand finished from premium grained “thicker cut” genuine leather and is made in Italy. This courier bag also features subtle gold fittings in a more structured body that will hold its stylish shape no matter how full you make it. It also has a reinforced base that means it will stand up if it is placed on the floor.

The Colour

This bag comes in a wide range of colours, but you have to admit that the coral shade that I chose is a real statement piece. The coral is juicy and is the perfect colour to add a pop to any outfit, or to use if you love to colour clash your outfits. I also have my eye on the emerald green shade which is a real jewel colour, and the cappuccino shade which may just be the perfect neutral, go with anything bag. There is also classic black for those who love to stick to the classics.
