Serendipity In Every Shade From Elie Beaumont

A couple of months ago, I reviewed a Serendipity tote bag from Elie Beaumont. This bag was a departure for the brand, a quilted cotton tote bag with a wonderfully vibrant design rather than their usual leather designs. I absolutely loved my original Serendipity tote, so when I was asked if I would like to do a further review, I jumped at the chance, and chose the Tropical Fuchsia version of the Serendipity tote.

What’s To Like?

The first thing you note about the Serendipity totes from Elie Beaumont is the quality. The bags are made of beautiful quilted cotton that are strong and durable, with double lined handles that do not cut into your skin, but don’t feel like they would break under the slightest pressure.

The bags are large and deep, certainly large enough to make them a brilliant bag for a day out at the beach for instance, and they have two internal pockets that you can use for things you want to grab quickly, like car keys.

The colour and prints are beautiful and vibrant, certainly they will add a pop of colour to any outfit. The bags are also washable, and they wash well and can be line dried.

Usage

I have been using this bag all over the Summer and have found it to be absolutely brilliant for days at the beach, or as a general holiday bag. I can easily get all my regular handbag belongings in it, as well as extras like a bottle of water, a book and my sun cream and hat. But this bag is not a Summer bag alone. The fact that it is big enough to hold a laptop makes it perfect as a bag for school or college. It is a brilliant shopping bag that could certainly hold a few groceries that you might need. It could even be a bag for a new mom as it is big enough for nappies, wipes and extra baby clothes.
