Spree by the Slopes: Top Tips for Shopping in Mont Tremblant
If you’re going to Mont Tremblant, you’ll want to know about all the little shops in the area. This place is hailed as one of the best places to find odds and ends and even antiques. Here’s what you need to know.
Betty Barclay
This trendy shop caters to women. Specifically, high-end fashion for women. Most of the items here are imported from Germany. They also sell accessories. It’s a very small (intimate) shop, but you should be able to find what you need if you’re looking for high-end fashion items.
Adrénaline
This shop is made for snowboard enthusiasts. It’s considered the number one place for trend-setting snowboarding gear. There is a wide selection of brands here, from Capita, Union, Libtech, Quiksilver, 32, Ride, Vans, Holden, Volcom, Electric, Hershel, and GoPro.
Atomic Tremblant
This store has a large selection of winter garments and gear. Most people who shop here do so because the prices are great and most everything is marked down. It’s a large store – larger than many others in the area, and seems to cater to families and hardcore enthusiasts. This is a store that you go into to buy a bunch of gear, and then spend all day using it.
When you’re done, you’ll be so tired that you’ll want to book one of the popular Mont Tremblant chalet rentals in the area.
Bagnoles et Bobinette
This store caters to families with young children. It’s a quaint little shop with lots of toys and games for young kids. You can shop online or in store. They do have specials in-store that aren’t typically available on the web, so be sure to stop in. But, anything you buy in here can be shipped to you, so you won’t have to worry about getting it home.
Beaver Tails
If you’re a foodie, you’ll love it here. The Beaver Tails bakery serves up fresh whole wheat pastries that are topped with pretty much whatever you want. Unlike many places you’ll shop, Beaver Tails makes hand-stretched pastries which are float-cooked and served hot.
Candy Shop
For the kids. You can walk in here and pick and mix any combination of gummies, liquorice, sour and chocolate-coated candies. There are funcancy toys, lollipops, gums, chocolates, truffles, fudge, nougat, caramel, fresh cotton candy, and homemade macarons.
Chamonix
This new concept shop is full of high-end fashion, sporting labels like Bogner, Fire & Ice, Dale of Norway, and KASK.
Shopping here can get pretty expensive, but if you have to have the latest and greatest, then at least stop in to browse.
Other Shops
Of course, you can wander around the area and find yourself out of the typical downtown area. Tremblant is a charming little village full of little shops and small businesses. A few stores, like Elle Tremblant, Access Mod’elle inc., Boutique Manege, Boutique Lingerie Roméo et Juliette, Cycle & Sport Mont-Tremblant, and Le Walkin have become locally famous for their customer service and unique offerings.
