Prabal Gurung is one of the New York based designers that I always look forward to seeing at New York Fashion week. His ultra feminine designs are always a feast for the eyes, and I found much to savour from his new collection, not least the sumptuous use of colour and frill details. There were many style motifs running through the collection. Floaty cape effects were one which I thought were very successful, in the sheerest of chiffon fabrics, these additions to tops and dresses looked great and totally wearable. Loving Kirsten Dunst at Wimbledon!
Well I sat sipping Pimms yesterday in honour of my favourite sporting occasion Wimbledon. And who knew that the legendary event could this year be one that hits the fashion radar too. But yesterday, one of my favourite Hollywood stars appeared at centre court and set my fashion eye a fluttering. Step forward Kirsten Dunst, who recently looked absolutely amazing at Cannes, and definitely seems to be having a real fashion moment. With her friend, stylist Leith Clark alongside, Kirsten had come up with the perfect fashion moment for what looks like a rain-soaked summer.
