Celebrity Get the look featuring a host of ITV stars

One of my favourite types of posts to research and write concerned with Celebrity Get the Look. These posts are always interesting to research, and I particularly love it when I find that a particular outfit contains elements that come from the High Street or from online companies. This particular post has lots of finds from both of those places, and also has one other thing in common – all the ladies featured are presenters or actresses who have worked, or are currently working, on ITV.

So we have Corrie ladies Georgia May Foote, Sair Khan and Lucy Fallon (Katy, Alya and Bethany) who are showing both red carpet and casual style, and breakfast stars Susannah Reid and Charlotte Hawkins, both proving to be frock queens in dresses from LK Bennett (new season) and Phase Eight (a total sale steal that is well worth a look.) This Morning’s Alison Hammond looks beautiful in Scarlett & Jo, now available at Yours Clothing, while sometime ‘Loose Woman’ and Mrs Rod Stewart, the gorgeous Penny Lancaster, is another fan of Gorgeous Couture.

Finally, we have X Factor Queen Cheryl who wears one of my absolute favourite designers, Markus Lupfer, looking amazing in his Lara Lip jumper. I think this is such a fabulous design, glamorous due to the sequins, but just so much fun too.

Who’s look do you rate?

More ways to get that Middleton look

Whilst Kate seems to be having a break after a flurry of High profile appearances, her influence on British fashion continues to flourish. I spend lots of time trawling the internet looking at new collections from High Street and Web-based companies, and seem to spend an awful lot of time saying ‘that looks like something the Duchess of Cambridge has worn’.

With Kate’s impeccable taste now shown to be retail catnip, it is no wonder that so many companies are trying to harness some of the Kate Effect. George are just one retailer who have talked of the indirect Kate effect – when the Duchess was pictured wearing coral skinny jeans, George reported that their sales of a similar pair of jeans significantly increased.  With the increasingly thrifty Duchess wearing great clothes that are also from past Designer or High Street seasons, purchased from outlets and second-hand clothes exchanges, copying Middleton style to the max can prove difficult. So it makes perfect sense for retailers to create their own, slightly modified and updated versions of Kate’s garments.

Here are a few Middleton inspired designs I found trawling the net.

Made in Chelsea Caggie – an update

Since writing my last piece about Made in Chelsea, I have been overwhelmed by the interest in the trio of girls that I featured, but in particular the interest in Caggie Dunlop. Everyone seems to want to know where this girl gets her clothes from, or how they can get the Caggie look. I have also been emailed by companies suggesting their products for those who want Caggie’s style. So, here is a quick update on the Caggie look book.

The gorgeous Grecian style dress that Caggie is wearing in the picture above is a High Street find from Mango. It is still  available in sizes 8,10 and 12.

Mango banded gown £114.90

This white dress seemed to be universally admired, and was tracked to a King’s Road boutique, but Oasis have produced some similar styles, but in colour pop jade and classic black.

Caggie was photographed last week getting cosy with Plan B wearing another little white dress, this time from Gorgeous Couture. This is the Amelia dress, and it is £129.

I was also contacted recently by a company called Porr’s collection, which is based in Knutsford, Cheshire. They design and sell beautiful turquoise rings of the sort Caggie is fond of wearing. I think the ring featured below is absolutely stunning, and their website is well worth a look!
