On Friday I had the most exciting of evenings. I was a finalist in the Birmingham Awards in the catagory of best blogger, shortlisted from literally thousands down to just five. I didn’t win, but still had the most amazing night, not least because I was dressed for the occasion by one of my favourite brands Kaliko, in a dress that I can only describe as perfect.
