The Harry Moseley Ball 2013 – it’s almost time
The inaugural event last year was an unmitigated success, attended by more than 1,000 people and raising a staggering £103,000 for the ‘Help Harry Help Others’ Charity. This years Harry’s Ball, the fundraiser that both pays tribute to, and raises money for the charity founded by Harry Moseley and his mother Georgie, promises to be an even bigger event. This years event is being held at Birmingham’s ICC on Saturday 19th October. The event is being supported by Hollywood Monster, Hotel La Tour and Harvey Nichols and will be hosted by Midland radio legends Tom Ross and Russ Morris. There are some people who really make a difference to this world. Harry Moseley was one of them. Diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour at the age of seven, he could’ve been instantly forgiven for having a selfish outlook, or for giving up on a life that had barely started and was now being given an expiration date. But that was not Harry. Instead this little boy showed he had the bravery of an army of men and a care and compassion for other children in his position that was both humbling and heartbreaking.
