The teen choice awards took place last night, and there were some fantastic fashion looks on display. Her are my favourite looks of the event. Emma Stone in Dior. I just love Emma’s style – I think she is a definite contender for all the best dressed lists when they are compiled. Her Dior metallic striped dress was just perfect for the event. The yellow peril – colour of the season?
Baba recently learnt the names of all his colour. When asked his favourite he says, with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever, “YELLOW”. This is perhaps not that strange, as yellow is my favourite too, and this season, it seems to be having a bit of a moment. When I think of yellow, I think of some of my favourite ever dresses. I wore a gorgeous cotton sundress in canary yellow whilst I was four months pregnant to walk around Barcelona in the sunshine, it seemed the perfect choice. Fashion Mommy at the BBC
Fashion-mommy had a small taste of stardom today when she was featured on the ‘Mornings with Joanne Malin‘ show on BBC Radio WM. This was during the style guide ‘Sex in the 2nd City’ slot. It was frankly one of the most exhilarating and nerve-wracking experiences of my whole life…and I would do it again like a shot! The day didn’t bode well. Baba and I had slept at nanny and grandad’s house the night before so that Auntie Jodie could be babasitter extraordinaire whilst mommy talked fashion on the airwaves. Unfortunately, we had to sleep in a single bed, and nobody has yet explained to Baba about personal space.…
