Style Icons of the Year Pt 1 – Nicole Scherzinger
I didn’t expect to like her, in fact, I was fully expecting to hate her when she was announced as the X Factor 4th judge, but Nicole Scherzinger totally won me over on the X Factor this year and became one of my new style crushes in 2012. Nicole is so beautiful, she looks ‘Schermazing’ in just about everything, but she is also warm, quirky and a whole lots of fun. She also proved to be an excellent mentor, with two of her acts making the final, and James Arthur crowned the eventual, and much deserved winner. Pippa Middleton nails this season’s berry shades
It was a very busy week for Pippa Middleton last week. On the promotion trail for her Party Planning book, ‘Celebrate’, on one day alone Pippa wore no less than four great looks, my favourite being the great plum dress from Roksanda Illincic. An evening with Amanda Wakeley
A few weeks ago I was invited to one of the most exciting experiences of my life, the chance to meet a real fashion legend, a woman whose designs have been worn by the likes of Diana, Princess of Wales and Kate Middleton, and whose career is full of amazing highs and horrifying lows, the fabulous Amanda Wakeley. I was invited by Fiona Gandy from the digital media agency 7thingsmedia, along with a small group of bloggers to spend an evening with Amanda at her flagship store on the Fulham Road, London. On arrival we were greeted with Pink Champagne and canapés, and had chance to marvel at the beautiful…
