Tog 24: Mother’s Day And Beyond

If you are still looking for a gift for Mother’s day, are after a wardrobe update for Spring, or just want to treat yourself, you should check out the latest range from Tog 24. High street brand TOG24 has some lovely pieces to consider for Mother’s Day and well beyond, from stylish accessories to spring wardrobe staples. All of these are designed in Yorkshire by this great value, family-owned business. The pieces are stylish, practical and totally wearable. If Tog 24 is not yet on your fashion radar, it definitely should be!

I have been looking at some of my fave pieces from their current collection, and have to say, choosing favourites was difficult, because I love it all. But, here are a couple of pieces that you should definitely consider adding to your wardrobe this Spring.

Claire Women’s Dress available in light forest, RRP £50.00

The Claire jersey dress is perfect for those easy, casual days when you want to look good but stay comfy. Made from supersoft jersey fabric, it feels great to wear and is lightweight enough for warm weather. The knotted waist detail gives it a super-flattering fit, while the high neck and dolman sleeves keep it looking modern and relaxed. Over-the-knee in length, the side split in the hem adds a nice, airy feel, making it great for walking around or just chilling out. Whether you’re pairing it with trainers for a laid-back vibe or sandals for a summer-ready look, the Claire is also great for layering with a denim jacket on cooler days – in fact, it works for almost every casual occasion. It’s also a brilliant holiday dress – easy to pack, comfy to wear, and perfect for throwing on for a day of exploring or an evening meal.

What I love about this dress

Well, first of all I love the fabulous colour, this is a great shade of green that looks great teamed with a whole range of colours including yellow and red, and classic neutrals like black and cream.

I love the fact that this is a dress that is literally a ‘throw on’ style. No buttons, no zips, very comfortable and stretchy, something you can literally wear anytime. It works casually, but also could be worn with heels for a more dressy look – it would even work as ‘workwear‘ if a blazer was added.

I love the knot detail in the stomach area which is a brilliant way to conceal this area if you carry your weight there – it both gives you a waistband, and yet the knot obscures the area too.

You may notice the bag that I am also wearing in the above shot…

Wilshaw Hip Bag available in black, forage green or mauve, RRP £25.00

The Wilshaw quilted hip bag is a great “grab-and-go” bag that offers generous space without the bulk. When you’re heading out for a walk, or nipping into town, it’s ideal for keeping your essentials close to hand. With its trendy crescent shape, insulated filling THAT adds a touch of warmth and a zip opening which ensures you can grab your purse to pay for that coffee or snap a photo without fumbling. The adjustable, hard-wearing webbing straps and rubberised buckles allow you to customise the fit, and inside, a small pocket keeps everything neat and organised.

What I love about this bag

This bag is fabulous. The strap is adjustable so you can wear it like I am, or on the shoulder like a more traditional style. The colours are great, again I’m loving the green, and the zip fastening gives you a feeling of security for your essential belongings.

The style is very fashionable, and yet practical too with the washable quilting. I love that it has an internal pocket for extra storage. This is my perfect, hands free bag that I will be using all Spring and Summer as it is just big enough for my essentials and isn’t a bulky, heavy design.
