Tu: New Season Styling

A trip to Sainsburys is always an excuse for a look around the clothing section, so last week I did just that, checking out the latest range from Tu. With Autumn in full swing its the time of year to enjoy lovely knits and coats and jackets, and this year Tu also has a great range of tailored shirts and blouses with a range of pretty prints.

I have to admit, when it comes to supermarket fashion, Tu is probably my favourite range. I think it offers great quality at reasonable prices, and find that it always has a good range of classic pieces that you can reach for again and again.

So what is on the rails for Autumn 2021?

Tailored Jackets

The tweed styled jacket and the classic black tuxedo style with the ruched sleeves are pieces that would really earn their place in your wardrobe as they can be worn over literally everything, and will take you from day to night.

Knitwear

Really soft knitwear with a luxurious feel is a story for Autumn, with added interest in the form of motifs, buttons and pearls all making an appearance. The grey, vintage style cardigan featured below is one of my favourites of the new season as I think it could give life to your tea dresses, making them Autumn/Winter ready in the style of The Edge of Love and Land Girls.

Prints

Pretty floral styles that look great with denim, animal print and stars combos that are definitely a neutral, and the cutest dog and fox prints that are sure to raise a smile, Tu really has taken care of prints this Autumn. I love the quirky dog prints that will look just as good with a pair of peg trousers as they would with jeans, and could be dressed down with the addition of a chunky knit, or dressed up with the black tuxedo jacket featured earlier in this post.

Have you taken a trip to have a look around the collections TU has on offer this Autumn?
