Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb – A limited edition for Christmas

Viktor and Rolf’s signature fragrance Flowerbomb is one of my favourite fragrances, a romantic, girly confection that stimulates the senses and always gets people asking – ‘What perfume are you wearing?’. Because of this fact,  a Christmas limited edition was always going to be an exciting proposition, especially when the word ‘Couture’ was added to the mix.

This is the original Flowerbomb fragrance, with its bouquet of  floral notes the include Sambac Jasmine, Centifolia Rose, Cattleya Orchids and warm patchouli. I always find this a sensuous fragrance with touches of an oriental garden about the scent, but also with a freshness that echoes that which fragrant blooms bring to a room.

What makes this limited edition so special is the Iconic bottle, now adorned with the a little touch of Viktor and Rolf Couture.  The neck of the perfume bottle now has a Corolla in Viktor and Rolf’s trademark soft pink shade. This is strangely reminiscent of the unusual, standout bridal dresses that the design duo are famous for, in the same shade of pink that Natalie Portman wore so well at the 2011 Golden Globe awards. The Corolla gives the bottle an added vintage feel that makes this a wonderful object to display on your dressing table.
