Spring at Dorothy Perkins
Spring has sprung at Dorothy Perkins, and it is looking very, very pretty. The High Street store is always one of my fave places to visit when I’m updating my wardrobe for the new season for many reasons. It covers the trends, but not in a fashion victim way. It offers lots of variety, with the additional ranges like Billie & Blossom and Little Mistress. And, most importantly for thrifty fashionista’s, it offers great quality at reasonable prices. The season, Dorothy Perkins is showcasing gorgeous Spring florals, both in strong prints and applique detailing. There are cute playsuits for the young, and retro style dresses for the young at heart.…

West Side Story is coming to The New Alexandra Theatre
It is probably the best musical of all, and certainly one that changed the nature of them, bringing the musical kicking and screaming into the 20th Century. And now it has embarked on a nationwide tour, and will be hitting Birmingham next week. Yes, it could only be the Jerome Robbins and Leonard Bernstein masterpiece, ‘West Side Story’, the show that transferred the doomed romance of Romeo and Juliet to the brutal gangs of New York. It will now be coming to Birmingham’s New Alexandra Theatre…

Continuing with today’s rather dressy theme, this blog post is dedicated to reviewing a rather beautiful dress from one of my favourite brands, Gudrun Sjoden. Reviewed Boohoo Lou Slim Boyfriend Jeans
As I have previously blogged, I am on the hunt for the perfect jeans for girls with curvy figures. I want jeans that hug and enhance, rather than give the sausage effect by being too tight. I want jeans that don’t roll down my stomach leaving me hitching them up all day (so not a good look), and I want jeans that fit my legs without being too long – hence needing to be turned up, or too short. So far I have found one pair of jeans that I love (from F&F – check out that review here.) Now I turn my attention to a slim Boyfriend jean from…
