A Beautiful Mind at Harvey Nichols, Birmingham
There was a big night of beauty taking place at Harvey Nichols in Birmingham’s Mailbox last Thursday. ‘A Beautiful Mind’ delivered a series of masterclasses in hair, skincare, brows and beauty, whilst serving up beauty discounts and champagne and cocktails. I was invited along to enjoy the proceedings, learn a few lessons, and enjoy a little bit of pampering. I arrived early and so used the opportunity to have a browse at the latest beauty offerings and enjoy a cocktail of Prosecco and ginger created by using Ficks cocktail fortifier – apparently it helps prevent a hangover. To be honest, as much as I love ginger ale, I think this…

Supporting Your Breasts Throughout Pregnancy
It’s hard to accurately explain the level of change your breasts will go through during pregnancy, even if their outward appearance doesn’t seem that affected. On average, a woman’s breast size will grow by one cup during the course of a pregnancy but this is not set in stone, in fact some women report that their breasts barely change at all. But even if your breasts aren’t growing in size, you’re likely to notice that there are other changes afoot. Sainsbury’s celebrating the best of Easter
Easter is coming! Yes, with some children breaking up for the Easter break this Friday (not my son though, who has to wait until 2nd April for his freedom), our minds are turning to thoughts of chocolate, Easter egg hunts, fluffy Easter chickens, and all manner of food. With all that in mind, Sainsbury’s have produced a great new ad campaign that celebrates all the best things about a traditional, delicious British Easter. I love this video, because it shows all the fun and reality of a British Easter. There is the chance to have fabulous picnics and family barbecues – as long as the notorious British weather allows it.…

How to properly heal after an injury
All those that are doing sports can expect to be injured sooner or later. This is a usual part of the process. Naturally, nobody wants to get hurt and nobody expects it to happen. But the reality is that our bones and muscles are not indestructible. Like our entire body, they are susceptible to injuries and different issues that may occur during the training. Although we can’t control when or how we are going to get hurt, it is important for us to be reactive if such situation occurs. We need to know everything there is in order to counteract the consequences and return our body to an optimal shape.…

Reviewed – Yellow Crepe Jacket from House of Fraser
Last year saw House of Fraser launch it’s very first plus size offering, with a range that pulled from collections like Scarlett and Jo, Evans, Chesca and Marina Rinaldi. This is great news for those who are a size 14+, who, in the past, would’ve found House of Fraser a tough call for finding clothing in plus sizes. House of Fraser is now a definite destination in the plus size market, with lots of really stylish and wearable pieces that don’t end at a size 16. I was recently asked if I wanted to review something from the plus size coats and jackets section. With Spring finally arriving the weather…
