Springtime essentials – Keep these in your car.
We have already seen the first Bank Holidays of the year pass by, but the beauty of Spring is that they now come thick and fast, with two more to look forward to in May. Add into that the lighter nights, and the brighter, sunnier weekends, and we now have lots of lovely opportunities to spend time in the great outdoors. With that in mind, I have put together a list of a few essentials that it may be worth keeping in the car – a sort of Spring tool kit if you like. These are things that may come in usual if you go out for the day. A…

Skechers shoe picks from Mastershoe Myshu
It is no secret that I am a total shoe addict. When it comes to things to wear on your feet, I make Imelda Marcos look restrained. I may have about 200 pairs, which range from designer names (Westwood, Sergio Rossi, Salvatore Ferragamo and Bally are a few that I love), high street finds, charity shop finds, and cult buys like Swedish Hasbeens and Irregular Choice. Spring Homeware Haul
Spring always seems to me to be the perfect time for perking up the home with a few choice new pieces. The depression of Winter is over, the glitter and tinsel of Christmas seems a long time ago, so it seems the perfect time to add a little tender loving care to our favourite spaces, and whilst not necessarily giving them a complete makeover, at least adding a few new homeware pieces that will add new style to our surroundings. Ocean Loans who offer a great range of loans to homeowners, asked me if I would be interested in adding some Spring touches to my home. Now, my home is…

Making the most of your garden with a some footie fun
One of the best things about the arrival of Spring is the chance for Joe to play out in the garden, both after school and in the holidays. Joe is most definitely the sort of child who would be described as an ‘outdoorsy’ type, he likes all kinds of sports, running, climbing and riding his scooter. But the thing he loves doing most is playing with a football. The phase ‘football crazy’, may just have been made for him. My football Mad boy So, the return of the light nights and warmer weather also mean the start of the garden football season for my family. Joe already has his eyes…

Duchess Kate’s recent style triumphs
It has been a busy few weeks for Duchess Kate, and, as ever, stylewise she has not put a fashion foot wrong. As we expect from the Duchess, lots of outfits worn previously have made an appearance, but there have been some beautiful new outfits too, not least the magnificent dress that Kate wore last night at a pre-tour dinner before the Duke and Duchess embark on a trip to India and Bhutan. Kate’s beautiful dress was by Indian designer Saloni London, diplomatically paying tribute to their future hosts with this choice. I love this dress, which has the feel of a 1970s style maxi, with it’s sheer, flock style…
