30 wardrobe updates for under £30
Now we are firmly ensconced in the month of March, and with Mother’s Day celebrations out of the way, it is the time to give that wardrobe a Spring makeover. And whilst I’m not saying you should be packing away those jumpers just yet (it is still rather cold if we’re honest.), we can start to think about adding new pieces to our looks that could be classed as transitional. Also, we should also be thinking towards Summer, as holiday fabulous pieces are already hitting the stores.
I have focused on 5 different stores/websites in order to bring you a wardrobe update edit. I’ve chosen pieces from Next that echo on the 70s peasant style that is a big story this Spring. The Wallis edit has a wear anywhere navy dress that I am currently coveting, along with printed trousers that you could wear now with a thin white slouchy jumper, and then wear Summer with the acid green camisole.
For BHS I have concentrated on three bona fide wardrobe classic dresses, great for this season, and frankly every other season too. Asda has a skirt that I am obsessed with – a Boden-esque piece that has a Riviera print. Imagine it with that yellow shirt tucked into it – stunning!
Finally there is Dorothy Perkins, always worth a look for highly affordable fashion. The blue ruffle dress is my particular favourite from this drop – but the whole site is just packed with seriously lovely pieces.
Did I mention that none of the pieces costs more than £30 – proof that looking good can be affordable and easy.

Oh I do love that skirt from Asda! I love dresses and skirts but my issue when if comes to summery styles is what to wear on my legs, don’t want to wear black tights but too pasty and horrible to wear bare legs!

I use St Moritz stuff just for the legs. It costs about £3 from Savers and just gives a hint of colour. I even got my mom addicted last year and she never uses fake tan stuff – would recommend it.

Loved looking at all these lovely spring and summer clothes. Warmer weather will arrive, but for the moment I’m sticking with the jumpers.

I love the floral dress from Next! I rarely spend more than £30 on a piece of clothing so this post is right up my street 🙂

You’ve picked some lovely pieces there! That scenic print skirt is gorgeous. I missed out on the one Primark we’re selling a couple of years ago so this looks a great alternative!! I love dressing for Spring 🙂 xx

So many nice items here, I really like the sandals from Next and Asda, perfect for spring/summer. Also really nice the snake print bag.
