A Splash of Colour From Yours Clothing
Dopamine dressing has been a massive news story in fashion this Spring, and deep shades of green, in particular, have been very popular. Yours Clothing, the brilliant fashion brand that is just perfect for those with curves, has had a major focus on bold brights this season, and their green pieces have been gorgeously vibrant.
The LIMITED COLLECTION Curve Apple Green Scuba Blazer is a brilliant piece for your Spring and Summer wardrobe. A really easy to wear longer line jacket, this is a jacket that can fit most occasions, from cool and casual daywear, to a smarter evening look. The longer line means that you can wear it over a mini dress, but I really like it teamed with skinny jeans or trousers, with a sleek camisole underneath. Come Autumn and cooler weather, and this would work just as good worn over a polo neck jumper.
Green is a great colour as it works with so many other colours and patterns. If can work with neutrals, like the cream and beige camisoles that I teamed with it, and black jeans are a must. But deep blues and reds can work well as a colour clash, whilst animal print and dogtooth checks would also work well.
How Do I wear this?
Daytime look
For daytime, I added skinny jeans with a camisole and a pair of flat, animal print shoes. My bag was a colour clash in purple.
This jacket is great for daytime wear because it is so cosy and comfy to wear. The scuba material makes it stretchy, and I like the fact that it doesn’t have buttons, it makes it a less formal look. The fact that it has side pockets is a big plus point too.
And for the evening…
I wore this jacket for a trip to the theatre with my son to see The Play That Goes Wrong. To dress up the look I added a pair of Yours toe post heeled sandals with a Chanel style chain and a Guess shoulder bag that I wore cross body.
This time I made green the focal colour with the jacket, bag and heels all matching. The jacket was a great choice as it went quite cold when we left the theatre that night and the jacket is surprisingly warm.
The Limited Collection Curve Scuba Blazer comes in a range of sizes from 14 to 34-36, and also in 22 colours that range from more brights, to pastel shades and classic neutrals. Definitely worth a look!
