Beauty Review – Antipodes Divine Face Oil
I love discovering new products and new brands, especially when it comes to beauty and skincare. This year I seem to have paid even more attention to my skin than usual, possibly due to a big birthday I have coming up next month – hitting the big 4-0. It is as if I have suddenly realised that you truly only have one skin, and therefore need to take extra time looking after it. The Divine Face Oil by Antipodes in Organic Avocado oil and Rosehip is the newest wonder product I have added to my bathroom shelf, and it is a product that I take no time in recommending.
Antipodes Divine Face Oil £19 click to visit SelfridgesAntipodes is a brand that takes a great pride in using natural and organic ingredients in their product. For the Divine face oil, it offers 100% ingredients from natural origin, (a base of 100% Avocado Oil) and 95% of ingredients from organic cultivation. This means you are not pumping lots of chemicals into your skin, but giving it a natural treat. I tested this product daily for a month, and have to say that it was super easy to fit into my skincare regime, and has definitely shown some positive results.
The bottle makes application simple. It has a simple stopper that enables you to measure out a small amount, stopping wastage – this is one of those products where a little goes a long way. I used this after washing in the morning, massaging it into my face and neck. I paid particular attention to the lines on my forehead, and my cheekbones which suffer from redness. These are my noticeable problem areas, but this would also be good for sun damaged skin, acne scars and tired looking skin.
The product is an oil, so it does take a while to absorb into the skin, but it feels so soft and silky I really didn’t mind about this. There is also a gorgeous scent of essential oils that comes from the Rosehip, it lingers and is just lovely, very soft and almost sensuous. Once I had applied the oil, I left it a few minutes and then applied my daily make-up as usual.
The oil is non-greasy, and the scent is just gorgeous. After using this for a month I have noticed that my skin is definitely softer. The redness of my cheeks is not as pronounced, and this product has just become a regular part of my daily routine – quick and easy to apply and offering an instant boost that makes it a new beauty essential, especially for those who like their skincare products to be natural.
The Antipodes Divine Oil is available at Selfridges. A 25ml bottle costs £19. You can view all the Antipodes products by clicking here.

This sounds so good…I have dry skin and usually tend to buy essential oil based stuff to combat it. I’ve used the Neals Yard Frankincense and Rosehip one so far…this is certainly something to look into. x

That does sound good – I’ve been using organic skincare for a while now, and have tried out some Antipodes products, but not this one! I like the idea that it’s not greasy, so you can wear it under make-up. I might be tempted, thanks for the review! P x

I always use oil on my skin at night & have really noticed a difference too! This is reasonably priced too! xx
