Boden – The new Shoes
I saw a very funny picture yesterday that was emblazoned with the statement ‘It is ok to love your shoes more than you love most people’. I would say that when the shoes in question are Boden’s new season stock, this becomes an absolute statement of fact. Take a look at the gorgeous array of footwear below and tell me in all honesty – have you ever seen anything more gorgeous?
In recent years Boden have become synonymous with shoes that you have to have in your collection. Each season they have an ‘it shoe’ that the media and bloggers alike just seem to go crazy about. I’ve already seen Catherine from Not Dressed as Lamb raving about the Embellished slipper and the lovely choice of colours, but for me the 40s style Lucinda Mary Jane style, in yellow and grey, is just amazing – I really need these shoes in my life.
Boden are great for shoes because they release that not everyone can wear heels, and so they add as much style and interest to their flat shoes as they do to their mid and high heel selections. I love the use of colour too – for many people accessories are how they add colour to outfits, and although classic black and navy styles are useful as they pretty much work with anything, how nice is it to have pretty patterned and colourful shoes to add into the mix.
