Boohoo knitb4xmas – simply fabulous
It was the knitb4xmas and all through the house, not a single soul stirred, they were all in the Ice Bar!
I attended my first Christmas event last week, and it was simply Sublime. Those wonderful people at Boohoo.com and 7thingsmedia had combined to create the ultimate introduction to Christmas. All the key ingredients for a fabulous Christmas were there, mulled wine and gingerbread cocktails, a festive choir in full, seasonal song, and more Christmas jumpers than you could shake a stick at. Add in a trip to Ice Bar, a genuine, unique experience, where you enjoy your freezing cold drinks at temperatures of minus 2, and you have a really unforgettable night.
The Knitb4Xmas was Boohoo’s unique way of launching a fabulous knitwear and evening collection straight in time for Christmas. Ice Bar London was the perfect festive setting with a rather wonderful Christmas tree dominating the corner of the room. There was an opportunity to create your own wonderful Christmas tableau with a photographer on hand with a multitude of Christmas props, and jumpers to help you set the mood for Christmas.

And then there was the trip to the Ice Bar. A very special, insulated cloak was the order of the day, complete with those mittens you have when you’re a child, with the string attached so you don’t lose them. I totally enjoyed the experience, drinking vodka from an enlarged ice-cube which starts to melt when it hits the warmth of your lips is totally surreal, as is going into a bar and seeing EVERYONE wearing the same blue cloak (such a fashion faux pas). I also loved meeting some fab bloggers, notably Joanna from Mademoiselle Lala, and Edita from Pret a Reporter, who proved to me that we really do live in the smallest of worlds.

I had a wonderful time, and am now definitely tempted to buy a Christmas jumper. Check out the fabulous range at Boohoo by clicking\. I have chosen some of my favourites below.

With thanks to Boohoo and 7thingsmedia for the invitation.
