Last night the most important event on the British Fashion Calendar took place in London. The British Fashion Awards recognises the best and brightest in fashion in the year 2018 This year it had a very starry red carpet with the likes of Uma Thurman, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Penelope Cruz and David and Victoria Beckham decked out in their best Christmas finery all in attendance.
The guest of honour though, and a very surprise guest at that was the Duchess of Sussex, looking the epitome of chic in a little black dress, who presented the designer of the year award to Givenchy designer Claire Waight Keller, who was, of course, the designer of the Duchess’s beautiful wedding dress. Claire beat Victoria Beckham to the most prestigious award this year.
As you can imagine in a room full of fashionista’s, there were some exquisite looks on display. My all time fave Kate Moss chose a stunning jade green one shouldered gown which I loved for its interesting length, Victoria Beckham looked stunning in a minimal black dress of her own design that needed no adornment other than her beautiful husband, whilst Rosie Huntington Whiteley was just perfection in a feather styled dress in deep purple and pink shades.
