Reviewing Old El Paso family friendly food
I love Mexican food. Enchiladas, fajitas, burritos, guacamole and nachos – these all rate amongst my favourite dishes. I adore a bit of spice in my flavours, but do sometimes find that these are hard to incorporate into family meals. My five year old is not really a fan of what he refers to as ‘spicer’, and so milder, classic options are called on time and time again at mealtimes. When I was approached on behalf of Old El Paso to review some of their Mexican meal kits, I must admit I jumped at the chance. This was an excuse to have a Mexican tea for review purposes, I hoped…

Making our own Easter Eggs…a bit of a disaster
Some women deserve the term ‘Domestic Goddess.’ They swan around the kitchen in best Nigella mode, making the most mouthwatering creations from scratch, baking their own bread and cakes, seemingly able to rustle up a three course meal from a block of cheese and a bag of potatoes. Sad to say, I am not one of those women. In fact, I couldn’t be further removed from the term ‘Domestic Goddess’, ‘Domestic embarrassment would be more apt. Actimel helps you #squeezemorein
I’m a huge fan of Actimel Plus. The fabulous, fruity yoghurt drink is the perfect start to the day for someone like me, always in a rush in the mornings and not really a huge fan of breakfast. I always make sure I keep a supply of my favourite Strawberry flavour in my fridge, and am keen to try the new Blackcurrant flavour too. I love the fact that I can also persuade my little boy to drink these too – he seems to enjoy them almost as much as I do, with Vanilla being his favourite. Actimel have a special ethos, they believe that squeezing a lot in is…

Valentine’s Day Ideas from Hotel Chocolat
If the way to a woman’s heart is via the stomach, you can pretty much guess that every signpost on route will be labelled ‘chocolate’. And so, with Valentine’s day now within walking distance, it seems like a box of choccies is a sensible, if safe option as a gift for you Valentine. But if this is the option you are taking, make sure you do it in style. And by that, I mean with one of the sumptuous collections from leading British chocolatiers, Hotel Chocolat. Hotel Chocolat takes chocolate to the next level, with a range of unusual ingredients and flavours that are a gourmet’s delight. The lovely Beau-Jane…
