Christmas comes early to Sainsbury’s

With just over two months to go until Santa starts that journey from the North Pole, Lapland or wherever it is that he is living these days, a little bit of help with the Christmas list is just what parents ordered. So thank goodness for Sainsbury’s and their super Christmas comes early toy sale that is starting in stores today.

Make no bones about it, this is a truly amazing toy sale with every single item in the toy aisle reduced. There are savings of 25%, one third off, and an amazing 50% off brands like Barbie, Moshi Monsters, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Nerf.  Toys for younger children including Fisher Price and Leapfrog are also included in the promotion, making this the perfect time to pick up a bulk of your Christmas toy shopping, whether you are buying for your own children, nieces or nephews, or the children of friends. You may even be in my situation and have the double whammy of a Christmas baby, making this a very expensive time of year, with any savings to be made most gratefully received.

Tom Folliot, buying manager for toys at Sainsbury’s, said of the promotion:“We know that Christmas can be an expensive time of year and budgets are stretched. We want to make it easier for our customers by giving them the opportunity to get hands on with some of this year’s must-have toys at great value. Kids can also enjoy the latest branded high-tech and character toys!

The Sainsbury’s toy sale starts today (23rd October) and will last until Tuesday 29th October. The promotion is only available in stores.
