There were a few stylish moments on Christmas day that I did not want to ignore, despite taking a break over the festive season. The Royal Family, residing at Sandringham, made their annual Christmas morning trip to church and looked suitably warm and cosy, with Zara Philips my pick for most stylish lady. William and Kate spent Christmas day with the Middleton’s, but did make a more low-key appearance, with Kate adding a touch of festive red with her long scarf.
Christmas Day Top of the Pops has always been a tradition in my house, although we always seem to start eating the Christmas dinner half way through. This year there was glamour from Paloma Faith, and those Girls Aloud, who shimmered and sparkled in festive tinsel style gold.
And from a tradition that comes from yesteryear, to a new one that has become a major party of Christmas day television – Strictly Come Dancing. Tess Daly always looks amazing, and in white and silver, she shone in a Grecian style gown that must rate has one of her best looks from this season. Predictably, it was a boy band member that won (some bloke from JLS who was pretty nifty on his feet to be honest), but a sparkly Tess was a definite highlight for me.
