Day of the Dead Bonfire Party at Umberslade Farm Park
If you are looking forward to Halloween, but are not sure what to do to celebrate the spookiest night of the year, then step this way. Umberslade Farm Park celebrates its 30th year with a Day of the Dead Family Bonfire and Fireworks Party on Thursday 31 October.
The Day of the Dead Bonfire Party promises to be a frightful delight for all the family. If you love the film Coco, then you totally know what to expect, wire fire dancers, day of the dead inspired stilt walkers and puppetry, and a live Mariachi band. Visitors can dance the night away with the Dead Famous Family Silent Disco – which plays the music of artists who are gone but not forgotten – or be entertained by some spooky story telling.
With day of the dead themed face painting and Halloween themed hands-on craft in the newly renovated play-barn and coffee barn, visitors can choose to follow the pumpkin trail across the Farm or dare to knock on the trick or treat doors. Keeping everyone warm and refreshed expect spooky street food and a licensed bar.
Halloween is the perfect excuse to get dressed up (and I’m including adults in that too), to get that facepaint on, and enjoy some good old spooky fun with the old family. Oliver Muntz of Umberslade Farm Park says: “As it’s a special year for the Farm we wanted to have a Bonfire Night with a twist, an opportunity for visitors to the farm to experience something new as well as enjoying our annual bonfire and fireworks.“We think our Day of the Dead Bonfire party will be a night to remember. And don’t forget if you come in fang-tastic fancy dress you will be in with a chance to win a Family Farm Pass!”
Gates open at 4.30pm, with the Umberslade Bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and the firework display takes place at 7.30pm.
