Halloween Fun For All the Family

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hotel Chocolat. The opinions and text are all mine.

September has just raced by, almost disappearing with the blink of an eye. Sunday will see October upon us and we will then be looking forward to the spookiest night of the year and all the fun that comes with it, I am , of course, talking about Halloween, a chance to dress up, play party games and have all sorts of devilish fun.

Halloween is now big business, with the shops full of ideas for costumes, props and games. There are also a delicious array of chocolate treats that are perfect for Halloween parties, as gifts for trick or treaters or for no other reason than to satisfy the needs of a sweet tooth. Hotel Chocolat in particular has some gorgeous offerings from as little as £1.95 for the hilariously named Skull Lick, a white chocolate skull that looks as naughty as it tastes nice.

Hotel Chocolat have been busy lately, for as well as coming up with a tasty range of Halloween treats, they have also produced a handy guide to some activities that could make your Halloween party go with a bang. They have created a useful infographic that has a great selection of DIY party games and activities that cost very little but could be a whole lot of fun,

My personal favourite is the Mummy sack race, which could also be adapted to be for ‘mommy’s only’ to make it even funnier. The doughnut game is a sort of variation on apple bobbing, but I’m guessing that chocolate covered donuts make this a more sticky and scrummy activity.

Have you got any plans to have a Halloween Party this October 31st? What sort of games will you be playing?

  1. Every time I remember to stock up on sweets and treats no one comes knocking but if I forget you can bet there’s a rap on the door.
