Today I’m looking back at the outfits I wore in July. July was a bit of a funny old month, I’d just got back from my holiday and really wanted to show off my suntan, but the weather was changeable to say the least, with warm days teamed with rain, and days that were decidedly cool for the time of year.
In many ways my outfit reflects that weather, with longer sleeves on tops and colours that would be more suited to Autumn than the tropical Summer we longed for. As ever, there was a good mixture of new buys, many picked up in the sales which I think have been pretty good this Summer, and also some holiday buys that I picked up in Portugal, including my sunshine yellow Desigual bag. There are of course pieces that I have dragged from the back of the wardrobe, an advantage of finding it hard to part from my clothes.
My personal favourite outfit is the one I wore for Sunday lunch combining an orange Bardot top and animal print skirt. I think these tops are amazing, and New Look now has them in different colours and prints – they are well worth the money.
