My Golden Rules for Online Dress Shopping
Remember when shopping for that perfect dress meant visiting endless shops, with tired feet, queuing for the fitting room, queuing at the till, then queuing for the bus. Shopping online has changed all that, while there are definite advantages to shopping for dresses online – faster, much more choice, and often cheaper too – there are some points to remember to make your shopping experience that much better. I was sceptical about online fashion shopping at first, and while no online photograph is ever going to give you the true feel for a dress that you’d experience in a real store, I now frequently buy online, as the process has…

Get set for Wimbledon with Tennis white style
My favourite sporting tournament of all starts on Monday, I love tennis, it is my sport of choice to watch, and Wimbledon is just the epitome of a stylish tournament, with celebrities, royals and all-round beautiful people taking their places in the confines of the All-England Club. Wimbledon is the sporting event to see, and be seen at, the most iconic of all the Grand Slam events. Of course, one of the things that Wimbledon is most famous for is the all-white rule. July Outfit Post
Today I’m looking back at the outfits I wore in July. July was a bit of a funny old month, I’d just got back from my holiday and really wanted to show off my suntan, but the weather was changeable to say the least, with warm days teamed with rain, and days that were decidedly cool for the time of year. In many ways my outfit reflects that weather, with longer sleeves on tops and colours that would be more suited to Autumn than the tropical Summer we longed for. As ever, there was a good mixture of new buys, many picked up in the sales which I think have…

June Outfit Post Part 2 – Holiday time!
A little later than I originally planned, (by life and laryngitis sort of got in the way), here is the second part of my June Outfit post, featuring some of my favourite looks from my recent holiday in Portugal. Now. there are quite a few outfits here, and this is not even all of them, so you can probably guess that traveling hand luggage only with a great capsule wardrobe is not my way when it comes to holidays. Thank goodness for Jet 2, with 22kgs luggage and another 10kgs for hand luggage, which leaves me enough space for all my holiday outfits, and still room for a little holiday…

May Outfit Post
I absolutely loved May. The weather started dreadfully – I was still wearing my winter coat, but then it became glorious and I spent a lot of time reading books in the garden (when I should’ve been working, but still!). May was also a busy month in my house, with two birthdays, end of the football season meaning presentation time, and quite a few date nights too. This post is some of the outfits I have worn this month. As ever, I try to avoid buying lots of new clothes, so this is a mixture of some new pieces, savyy charity shop finds (my fave being the Wallis dress that…
