May Outfit Post
I absolutely loved May. The weather started dreadfully – I was still wearing my winter coat, but then it became glorious and I spent a lot of time reading books in the garden (when I should’ve been working, but still!). May was also a busy month in my house, with two birthdays, end of the football season meaning presentation time, and quite a few date nights too.
This post is some of the outfits I have worn this month. As ever, I try to avoid buying lots of new clothes, so this is a mixture of some new pieces, savyy charity shop finds (my fave being the Wallis dress that was just £2 from a local cat’s protection charity, and pieces already in my wardrobe. There are also pieces that are new, and have been sitting in the wardrobe for an age waiting for a wear (please tell me I’m not the only person who does this?). The Laura Ashley skirt I wore for my father-in-law’s birthday meal was purchased in December, but got it’s first wear last month.
With Summer finally here I look forward to sharing my Summer purchases and outfits with you. I’m hoping for a lot of sunshine and chances to be outdoors – I personally love Summer dressing better than any other.
What did you buy in May? Are you shopping your wardrobe or seriously indulging in some retail therapy? What are your thoughts on vintage or charity shop buys?

My Life As A Mummy
I really love the red tunic dress, I saw it in Peakcocks the other day. I wish they did it in black though.

What a lovely selection of outfits. You look great in all of them although I love the orange dress the best.

These are lovely. I do adore the jumpsuit, the orange dress is also gorgeous.

I love the orange dress from Peacocks and the Wallis dress you found in a charity shop – what a bargain!

Fab selection of outfits and loving the use of colour and patterns I am a big fan of charity/vintage and mixing it with my current wardrobe to create new looks…with the odd fashion treat thrown in.
Thanks for sharing!
