Style Focus – Bella Hadid

It’s probably safe to say that Gigi Hadid is still the better known model and sister, especially after her relationship with Zayn Malik. But when it comes to flawless style, I think younger sister and fellow model Bella is absolutely killing it at the moment. With her beautiful, slightly gothic/Morticia looks (think young Angelica Houston crossed with Rooney Mara), and her pared back style which seems to feature all colours, as long as they are a shade of black, Bella has been quietly making fashion waves and winning plaudits for her choices.

Bella is one half of a stylish duo, with her boyfriend The Weekend, proving to be perfect foil for her sexy elegance. On the red carpet they make a striking couple, and totally complement each other in the same way as Posh and Becks and Brad and Angelina do. At the Grammy’s they were the best dressed couple by an absolute mile, and although Bella’s dress showed acres of flesh, by leaving off the jewellery and adornments, the look was classy, not trashy, with perfect sleek hair and make-up.

Bella does occasionally opt for colour, but like Angelina Jolie before her, she just seems to shine brighter when she opts for black with minimal accessories. Her look keeps her looking distinct from her California blonde sister, and gives her an identity that is totally her own, stunning, a little mysterious and a glorious combination that seems to be elegant and chic, but very sexy, all at the same time.
