Ballerina Style At Lindex

Ballerina style is always a huge fashion story. Whether it is Sex and the City style tulle skirts in the softest shades, or ballerina flats beloved of everyone from Kate Moss to Kate Middleton, this style is something that is evergreen and classic. Lindex have taken this trend, and have created the loveliest fine knit cardigan that has a wrap style with tie side detail. It is the perfect dancer style, similar to those worn over a leotard at the barre, and perfect as a pretty Spring cover up worn over jeans, or over a floral dress.

The cardigan

Lindex have some really lovely pieces for the new season, but this cardigan may just be my favourite. The cardigan is in a beautiful shade of very pale coral, almost bordering on pink. The wrap over detail is a faux wrap, but you can tie it on the side so you can adjust the fit of the cardigan. The v neckline is deep, so it can be worn over a shirt as the model is wearing, or over a camisole or t-shirt. It could also just be pinned it you want a sexier, evening appropriate look.

Fabric

The composition of the Material is 97% polyester and 3% wool, which makes it a very soft design, but the polyester ensures this is not itchy, perfect if you suffer from skin irritations. The fit is a classic fit rather than a more fitted design, which makes it easy and comfortable to wear.

I am wearing a size large in this design. I usually wear a size 16 in tops and knitwear as I have a large bust and prefer things not to be tight. I found this true to size, so wear your normal Lindex size. The sleeves are cuffed, which gives an added level of warmth.
