More Boho Styling From Oeyes
It’s another rather gorgeous dress from Oeyes this morning. Flicking through Grazia on my train yesterday morning it was obvious that boho styles have been a big story this Summer, and that, in particular, according to Polly Vernon, the slutty maxi is having a moment.
Now, whilst Slutty maxi is not necessarily a term I would choose to describe the dress, I can see what she means. A slutty maxi walks the line between being long and flowy and boho, but also flashes the flesh, either with splits, or the use of more sheer fabrics. This dress ticks both of those boxes, as well as adding a definite taste of boho.
Grazia Says…
This is the Bohemian Chiffon Printed Dress and you will have to excuse the fact that I wore it on a rather windy day, but hopefully you can still see what a pretty dress it is. It is also long, much longer than it appeared on the website photograph. I’m 5ft 7 inches and had a wear a pair of wedges with it, and it still touched the floor slightly. That doesn’t bother me, as I love a maxi dress, but my be a problem if you are tiny.
This dress is absolutely gorgeous, light and floaty, with a paisley style pattern and a button through style. It has a drawstring at the waist which helps to give it a shape, but you could leave this not drawn for a looser style fit.The Bardot style band has tiny little pom poms on it that adds more interest, and there is also a splash of rust/red that gives a contrast to the rice white shade of the dress.
This is a super pretty dress that you could wear in Summer for year after year, and you could add a thick, chunky jumper to give it a more transitional look for early Autumn.
