Mother’s Day Gift Guide Pt 2

With Mother’s Day in the UK falling at the end of this week, the days you have left to get your present are few. This may also have been impacted by Corona Virus, as many people are already social distancing themselves from larger crowds like you find in a shopping centre, or may be keeping a distance from older relatives.

All the items in this guide can be bought online and could be delivered to your mother as a nice surprise if you can’t get there yourself.

Mermaid Pink Gin

Everything about Mermaid Pink Gin is special. The taste of Isle of Wight strawberries mixed with a a blend of lemon zest and fragrant rock samphire gives the gin a gorgeous, but less sweet flavour than traditional pink gins. This is aided by the fact that it has no added sugar, and to add to the brilliance, it is also vegan friendly and gluten free.

The gin is not only friendly to your palette, it is also eco friendly. It comes in a plastic-free bottle which is 100% recyclable. The distillary has even removed the plastic sealing tape from the bottle. The bottle, incidentally, is beautiful, perfect if you have your gin bottles on display.

Mermaid Pink Gin has an RRP of £40 and is available at stores like Marks and Spencer, and you can read more about it here.

Disney Goodies From Mad Beauty

Mad Beauty offer the perfect gifts for Disney fans, with their range of beauty and grooming products, all with a Disney Twist. Their gifts are cute, and are also affordable, and manage to combine something a child would choose themselves with something that mom will also love. Mad Beauty isn’t just about Disney, they have Hello Kitty, Barbie, retro styled goods and general beauty items as well, but for me, it is all about the Disney!

My mom just loves elephants, so Dumbo is a real favourite. How cute are these Dumbo themed items?

Magnitude Cartier High Jewelry By François Chaille and Capucine Juncker

You may not be able to afford the jewellery, your mom may never own a piece by Cartier, but you might just treat her to this stunning new book all about the latest Cartier collection.

Magnitude Cartier High Jewelry By François Chaille and Capucine Juncker is a stunning coffee table book full of stunning photography, with an insert section and illustrations from the ateliers that is both unusual and makes this book a real statement piece. The book celebrates the pioneering spirit of Cartier, its creativity and the surprising beauty of the stones.

The book is available to pre-order from Amazon, and would make a really lovely surprise for your mom if it arrived next month.Bomo Art Large Half Leather Bound Journal

If your mom is a person who makes list, loves doodling, or always carries a notebook to write down their thoughts and ideas, then the exquisite Bomo Art leather bound journal from Pen Heaven is the perfect gift idea.

Premium aloe based skin treatments from Forever Living

If your mom is like my mom and takes her beauty and skincare very seriously, then some of the premium aloe based skin treatments from Forever Living could be a good bet. The two products I am suggesting are both highly commended in the Pure Beauty Awards for their tried and tested results.

The Infinite Firming Serum targets the signs of ageing with a clinically proven three-amino acid peptide that complements the natural processes of the skin to increase firmness and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Paired with powerful natural ingredients and Forever’s patented aloe, the firming serum is a rich moisturiser that makes skin feel smooth and firm, and the complexion appear visibly younger.
