Outfit post – January Review
I always think January is a strange month, the long comedown after the excitement of Christmas. My January consisted of trying to catch up with blogs after the break I decided to take over Christmas, and also attending events as the social calender started to take off again. This post is a bit of a mix of some of the outfits I wore for both casual and more formal occasions during the start to the year.
You will see some ever presents in the images. The yellow coat is my absolute fave at the moment, one of my Christsmas presents that cost just £25 from Primark and is already heading into bonus based on a cost per wear. The black pull on boots were a charity shop find from Next (but M&S do have exactly the same pair – I own that version in brown.) Cold mornings and need for comfort have made these another wardrobe favourite.
I have also decided that 2015 is the year that I will sort the wardrobe and try to wear things that I had forgotten about – or I’ll sell them on. The Clements Ribeiro swan dress was from the very first collection for Evans and holds lovely memories as I wore it when I interviewed Coleen Rooney (you can find that piece here). The dress is now too big, but using a vintage belt I got for 50p last year, I think it can be salvaged – thoughts?
Here are some more of the outfits that I enjoyed wearing this January.
