Reviewed – Dani Pro Nail Products from Simply Feet

If you are looking for nail products that are animal friendly, don’t contain chemicals found in so many of the popular brands today, including formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP, and promise to be chip resistant, then daniPro is a brand you need to take a closer look at. Having a range of products that tick all the above boxes, come in a range of beautiful colours that go from pretty pastels to the deepest of red shades, and also create great base and top coats, daniPro is a nail brand that is friendly to the planet, your nails and your purse.

DaniPro is one of the key products on the Simply Feet website, and I was sent a nail colour, base coat and top coat to try out. My nails are one of the banes of my life, I bite my fingers, and have found that, since I had Joe, they have become increasingly weak and brittle. They break easily, and pastimes like gardening and helping Joe with Lego do not help matters. Also, despite trying a range of polishes that promise to be long lasting and chip resistant, I always manage to wreck the look of any manicure within hours.

daniPro Infused Nail Polish Clear Base

I love a clear base, both to  wear as a a base, or to add shine for those days when I like my nails polish free. The daniPro infused clear base is great in that it is not too thick, is quick to apply, and then dries very quickly. It leaves a lovely smooth nail on which to apply nail colour, and, as with the nail polishes from daniPro, it doesn’t contain those nasty chemical and has not been tested on animal. At £11.50, it is reasonably priced and should last for some time.

daniPro Infused Nail Polish Wine

When it  comes to nail colour, I prefer something deep and rich, rather than metallic or pearl/pastel. I usually go for pillar box red, but the daniPro infused nail polish in wine is the sort of rich shade that appeals to me. As with the base, it is easy to apply, and thick enough that I have only applied one coat (this is a preference – you may want to build up the colour further by applying two.) The colour is shiny and deep, and quick drying, and the general effect is of sheer glamour.

daniPro Infused Nail Polish Clear Top

To finish your look, add a little extra shine, and to protect your polish, the daniPro infused clear top coat is the finishing touch to your manicure. Again, this is easy to apply and fast drying, which may encourage those who like to do their nails as fast as possible to move onto the next job (me definitely!). I was happy with how smooth my nails felt after applying the top coat, and think, when combined with the colour and the base, this makes a really good home manicure/pedicure kit.
